TINA Walsh

Tina Walsh has been actively participating in the health and fitness industry for over 15 years. She is a Certified Personal Trainer with NETA, an NCAA accredited certifying association. In addition, Tina is a Certified Primary Group Fitness Instructor and Drill Sergeant of the popular Boot Camp Challenge Program ® of Upstate NY. Tina is a Certified Spinning and Group Barbell Instructor and has completed training in Cardio Kickboxing, the Stability Ball, Step and a variety of other fitness programs. Tina keeps current her CPR/AED certification.

In addition, Tina is a Certified Kettlebell Coach/Instructor and has had extensive training and hands on experience with this innovative piece of equipment. She enjoys incorporating this useful tool into her workouts to blast fat and build strength! Tina is a fitness enthusiast and possesses a passion for running. In May of 2009, she completed her first full marathon in Vermont in less than 4 hours. In October of 2011, she set a personal best record in the Under Armour Baltimore Marathon where she qualified and will run the Boston Marathon in April 2013. Tina continues to complete 1-2 full marathons a year as well as a number of half marathons, often placing within the top three amongst her age group/female runners. With a husband and three young children, Tina understands the challenges of balancing exercise and nutrition into a busy lifestyle. Tina not only instructs a variety of fitness classes, she also works full time with the NYS Department of Health. Tina relates very well to her clients and supports their efforts in maintaining a balanced lifestyle
